Me: “I’m going to write a blog post tonight.”
Husband: “Why bother? Nobody’s reading your blog anyway. You have to blog for people to read, you know.”
Okay, I’ll admit that I’ve slacked on my blog as of late, but the fact is I’ve been busy. And tired. And busy being tired.
But that doesn’t mean that I’m throwing the towel in on my blog. I have things to say. Rants to rant and raves to rave. So, feel free to berate my cranky husband in the comments. I don’t mind.
Now, onto the blog.
On Thanksgiving weekend, I noticed that a number of people that I follow on Twitter were following @TassimoCanada. I clicked on the link and discovered that the folks at Tassimo were giving away a bunch of their Tassimo brewing systems, so I decided to follow @TassimoCanada myself. A few days later I got a direct message telling me they were going to send a Tassimo system my way.
If there’s one thing I hate, it’s waiting, and wait I did. About two weeks later it arrived, and I have to say it was totally worth the wait. I’ve been waiting to talk about it on my blog until I’d actually had some good opportunities to use it. Now’s the time.
I’ve often thought about getting a Tassimo before–it seemed like it would be the perfect appliance for us. Chad doesn’t drink coffee, so making a pot seems like a gigantic waste. And making an espresso for myself is fine, but it requires a lot of maintenance.
I was right–it is the perfect appliance for us (or, for me). It’s fairly compact, mess- and hassle-free, it matches our toaster, and makes me one perfect cup of coffee–or cappuccino or espresso or tea–at a time in no time flat.
So, whether anyone reads this or not, I’m really happy with my Tassimo. Let me know if you want to come by for a cup.
